Hello everyone and welcome back to like Razer Blade Pie, a bite-sized book club

about the short speculative fiction of Harlan Ellison, my favorite author. I'm Michael

Swamier and Trapid Host and sometimes I have a long spiel about the introductory

stuff surrounding the story and question of the day to day I don't. So we're just

gonna dive right in and that's because I believe I read this on and sent it to

my guest on the only place I could find it which is like a website where

there's a Xerox copy of an old magazine dated October 37th. That's weird. No

October 1981 and an illustration of Mr. Potato had arguing with Mrs. Potato

had this like the main thing. So not the ideal reading experience but he

I'm doing great. Better now with those dulcet tones in my ears. Oh I do what I

can I do. So first things first it came out I mean I asked you to be on just

because you're my pal but I had assumed you were familiar with Ellison you're

extremely well read but you seem to light up to some degree so what's your

Ellison relationship overall? Well I actually have a long-running personal

relationship in a couple ways. So first one of the books that one of the stories

I shouldn't say books because it was way too early in the world for me to read

really complex sci-fi but I did play this lovely video game called I have no

mouth and I'm a scream that absolutely we'll just say was a enlightening moment

there was an adventure game in the realm of sort of the the Monkey Islands or

Sam and Max's Kings quest exactly like those but but also but but darker and
