he was very kind and generous and lovely to me very early in my career and sort of feel like I owe him

my career and my life with the advice that he gave me so I um yeah I adore the man and so getting to make a programme that sort of tried to capture some of his joy and his brilliance, it was nice to sort of take time and actually share a lot of his music and a lot of kind of unheard things and troll the archive and get some real kind of unheard, lovely things.
