0:15.4	their ranking of popular diets. This annual report reviews the details and the
0:20.7	data around a few dozen of the most popular diet plans and then ranks them from best to worst overall as well as in a number of subcategories like heart health and weight loss.
0:32.0	And the diets are rated by an expert panel of nutritionists,
0:35.9	dietary consultants, researchers, and physicians who specialize in diabetes, heart health, and weight loss.
0:43.6	Joining me today to discuss the results of this year's rankings
0:47.3	is my colleague Jill Wisenberger.
0:49.5	Jill is a registered dietician nutritionist.
0:51.4	She's also a certified diabetes educator
0:54.3	and the author of four books.
0:56.0	The latest one is called Pre-D diabetes, a complete guide.
1:01.0	But the reason I've asked Jill to join us today is that she was also a member of that
1:05.0	panel of experts that rated the diets this year for US News and World reports.
1:09.6	So I thought it would be interesting not just to talk with her about the results, but also maybe get a little peak behind the scenes at the process.
