Hi, everyone. Welcome to a time of being still and being loved. My name is Brie Joy, and I'm a revelation wellness instructor at my ministry here in Vermont.

Today we're going to meditate on a beautiful song found in scripture that will fill you up with a strength that the world cannot give.

It's a scripture meditation that you can come back to, especially during those times where you're feeling depleted, run down,

or you just need someone else to be your strength for once.

I hope that it provides encouragement and serves as a reminder that you have access to the Lord's strength, that He is your strength.

Before I read the passage, go ahead and find a comfortable seated position. I like to prop my sits bone up on a pillow or a yoga block, or maybe a rolled up blanket.

You can choose to also lay flat on your back, elongating the spine, pressing shoulders away from your ears.

Now on your inhale, allow your shoulders to roll up to your ears, and then exhale them all the way back down.

Allow your body to get grounded.

What I mean by finding this groundedness, you become aware of your external surroundings and your internal feelings.

Whether that sense of smell or hearing the background noises of cars passing by, notice the breath and the inhale feeling cooler than the air coming back out as you exhale.

You might notice the support of the hard floor underneath you, or maybe it's soft.

Allow your belly to relax, soften your jaw,

rest your hands on top of your thighs and your palms open.

Take a deep breath in and out.

And the next breath, see if you can draw your breath up from your belly pulling your chest up towards the ceiling through your neck, and then exhaling down your backside, pulling your shoulders down all the way through and out your hips.

You may notice that your body is present, aware of your presence with us.

Holy Spirit, please come and breathe on us, your breath of life, fill us with your living water from the wells of salvation.

Lord, we believe, but please help our unbelief in this moment, maybe in the places of our hearts where we have forgotten that you are a source of strength.

You are our defense, and you are also our song. Help us to enter into that trust and find joy enough to praise. In Jesus' name, amen.
