So this is a special adjunct episode.

We have a, our regular episode is going to drop this week.

We'll review all the other new releases, Many Saints of Newark Catan, all that stuff.

But we wanted to have a special lengthy conversation about the Jesus music,

a documentary that opened on Friday, about contemporary Christian movie, sorry, contemporary

Christian music, its roots and its current practitioners, and it's somewhat, it's checkered history,

which is not super checkered in the movie, but we'll get

into that. Dave has a ton to say about this film, which is why I assigned him to review it for

the rap. He should absolutely go to the rap and read his review. I think he did a really great job

of sort of talking about what the movie does right and what it leaves out. But we wanted to have a

longer conversation with an expert on the inside.

So we're so thrilled to have with us, our dear friend Grace, who under the name Semler,

made history this year by scoring a number one song on the CCM charts as a beautifully out lesbian performer.
