Summary

Rock Waterman is a prominent Mormon blogger who maintains belief in all of the fundamental LDS Church truth claims (e.g., God, Jesus, Joseph Smith, Book of Mormon). 0:55.1	blog called pure Mormonism. People can find it, I'm sure, just by Googling pure Mormonism. But
1:01.5	you probably fit a bit of a different category than let's just say me or Carson or Marisa Calderwood.
1:10.2	In that, you know, my understanding is you believe that Joseph Smith saw God, you believe that
1:18.9	Joseph Smith restored God's church and you believe that there were golden plates and that Angel
1:25.2	Brunner delivered those plates to Joseph Smith. So you believe in all the basic tenants of, you know,
1:31.5	the traditional LDS restoration. Is that right? Yes, I believe all the core fundamentals. I believe
1:39.4	in the historicity of the book of Mormon, that it is what it claims to be. And that Joseph Smith
1:45.7	received revelations from Jesus Christ and that those revelations should be guiding the church today.
1:53.4	Okay. So you believe all those things and listeners can go back and listen to our former
2:00.7	interview. But tell us what your interactions have been with your church leaders to date.
