Jonathan Demi Tom Hanks movie Philadelphia which addressed the AIDS crisis. Springsteen again in the news in a big way,

speaking out against the Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act,

otherwise known as the bathroom law in North Carolina, by

canceling a major show in Greensboro Coliseum only days ahead of the date.

The law he's referring to overturns local ordinances banning

discrimination against gay and transgender people and dictates that they must use
