Our interview today is with Robin Hobb, the best-selling author of many books including the

Farsier trilogy, the Live Ship Traders

trilogy, and the Rain Wilds trilogy. Her most recent novel is called City of Dragons. She also published

this fiction under the name Megan Lindholm, and released a book called to The Inheritance and other stories, collecting short fiction published as both Megan Lindholm and Robin Hob.

Okay, so you started out publishing fiction under the name Megan Lindholm, but your

given name is actually Margaret. So how did you become a Megan?

One of my first professionally published stories was in an anthology called Amazon's of which

Jessica Amanda Samonson was the editor.

And prior to that I had been publishing as M Lintel.
