Low, Phil. Low to you, indeed. UFC 303. Back on the docket today.

Uh, an event which went down despite some tribulations, shall we say.

It officially happened.

Alex Pereira, Yuri Poshasca, stepped in for the main event that was supposed to be

Connor McGregor versus Michael Chandler,

although whether it was really supposed to be that in a cosmic sense, I suppose that's for you to decide.

The co-main event, which we were quite excited about, Brian Ortega versus Diego Lopez, ended up being scrapped.

First, the weight class was changed because

Brian Ortega was sick and wasn't going to make weight. And then they scrapped it day of the event

prompting, I hope, a well-rewarded Dan Igay to step in on hours notice to fight Diego Lopez.

So once again, the fighter is doing so much more than the promotion deserves to save these cards.

And I really hope they are getting well compensated for that.

And then otherwise, most of the other fights that were already on here, some of them already

changed by various pullouts and injuries and whatnot, most of them on this main card at least,

kind of sucked.

So it was really a blessing that we had, Pareda, Poshasca, and to a lesser extent, but certainly by the time he warmed up into the fight,

Ige versus Lopez as well at the end of this card.

Because without them, I think this would have been one very long, very wet fart to end UFC 303.

Yep, you are not kidding.
