My name is Zach Schomler. This is Strong Opinion Sports, episode 523. Welcome in. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I want to just send a message out there to people. I know for a lot of people the holidays and spending

time at their family is awesome and positive but I also know that there are people

out there who Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a really difficult and complicated time a year when your family isn't great.

And so I just want to, to those people out there who probably spent all day watching football,

avoiding their family. I care about you guys. I hope you're doing well. I know what

that's like and how hard it is and I am rooting for you people out there.

And remember when you talk about Thanksgiving and you talk about and I am rooting for you people out there.

And remember when you talk about Thanksgiving

and you talk about Christmas,

it's actually not positive for everybody.

So keep that in mind.

But those of you who did spend down with their family and it was awesome,

I really hope it was good for you guys too. On Thanksgiving, the Vikings beat the Patriots

33 to 26, it was a really good win for Minnesota. I would say the exciting story here is that

first year head coach Kevin O'Connell just beat Bill Bellachik and the legendary doing the Patriots and it's pretty cool especially when you consider the fact that you know he was drafted in the third round of 2008 by Bill Bellachach in the Patriots to be one of

Tom Brady's backup so it's kind of a crazy full circle moment for Kevin O'Connell

a guy who's already had way more success now as an NFL coach than he ever had as an

NFL player. By the way, the Vikings are now 9 and 2. It's them or Philly who's
