Summary

A full review of Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky. This ship is one of Norwegian's smaller cruise ships and sails year-round from Miami, Florida. Matt did a back-to-back sailing on this one so he sailed a four-night and then a three-night sailing. The itinerary on the cruise included Cuba, Nassau, Bahamas and the cruise line's private island of Great Stirrup Cay.

He did a four night and a three night aboard Norwegian sky out of

1:11.1

Miami and he's on the line. Hey, Matt. Hey, Doug. How's going? Matt, set me up. Why'd you do this back to back? Was it because the deal was too good to pass up or what? Yeah, so that's kind of how it worked. I was booked on the three night originally. I think I booked it back in like August. and I had kind of noticed the sailing before the four night was was pretty low to begin with.

1:33.3

But I wasn't really in a position to necessarily be gone for a week.

1:38.6

And I kind of just kept my eye on it and it just kept creeping down and down.

1:42.6

And I think finally about 10 days out from

1:46.4

the four day, it had gotten down to, I think, a base price of like 149 bucks. And I talked to my

1:54.0

wife about it and she was like, just go. It was too good of a deal to pass up. Not only was it cheap, but they waived this single

2:02.6

supplement, and obviously the sky includes your drinks. So it was kind of a no-brainer to add on the

2:08.5

four-day. So you're talking about, I mean, airfare aside, like 300 bucks out the door. Each

2:13.5

leg was just a little bit over 300 bucks. Wow. That's awesome, man, for seven nights. Yeah, including your booze. So it's kind of too good to pass up. Yeah. So you're up in Connecticut. You make your way to Miami. Any pre-crues stay in Miami? No, we actually flew down the day of. Okay. Just I was already going to be gone for seven nights, so I was trying to limit any more days.

2:38.1

Yeah.

2:38.6

And keep peace on the home front, too, probably.

2:41.4

Exactly.

2:42.6

So how was embarkation in Port Miami with the sky?

2:46.9

It was perfect.

2:48.2

We actually got to the terminal, like just before 1130 a.m.
