I thought it was unbelievable. It's not quite as good as the vocals are going to be. I just got done singing those and it's so weird.

redoing this and when you do the guitar part, I don't know if it's the same like with vocals. It really does take me back to oh yeah I sang this. Oh this is where I took a breath and will I put it here this time or not or why maybe I could maybe I should redo this a little bit but I try to stay pretty true to form but it does feel like you just muscle memory in a sense just a little bit.

Yeah, it's I find it to be an educational value unbelievable because of you know one part of our learning phase is reflection like to be able to reflect on what you have learned and how you've learned it and your own decision making is one of the main things that solidifies things in your mind and it's the thing that we all never take the time to do we just never take the time to do it so to take something that you work super hard on over a decade ago and immerse yourself back in it and retrace your own steps. Oh my god.

There's a lot to learn so that fundamentally I'm in a major growth phase because every single because I'm that way with the whole production of this thing like every time I get to a decision or a drum feel or style or a texture or any layer of it. I go what was I thinking back then was that right was that wrong. How do I think now? Huh that was really cool or how stupid was I and it's just right so every note in the guitar solo I think that was a cool note that young fella came up with a nice bend that is.

And I'm going to do it again and I'm sitting away I'm proud of that former self in a way like I can't believe is that stupid to think that was good or mattered and so I have the opportunity maybe make some changes but even the things that I wouldn't have done the same I still feel that it's great to re-explore and do them kind of the same even if I wouldn't have made that choice today so that whole exercises was just been real wonderful.

I think one of the funny things that happened to me is the name of the song is after the devil beats his wife I was like I wonder if people like because in the moment that we live in when they say you can't it's not you can't even name a song that because it's talking about a what a wife's getting white.

Yeah right I was like I wonder if people think because for those of you that don't know when we even we wrote this song I remember John Dunn or a and R guy goes hey what is this song mean or you talk I mean what is it why is it talking about beaten why I was like this is the one of the most oldest.

It's like God bowling his thunder right right right yeah exactly it's just like that is what people say I mean they don't really mean that a woman a demon woman is getting beat you know I mean it's not what they mean as nothing to do it but I was like in that funny that and it made me think even like tooth and nail being in Seattle and the West Coast really did like a little something like that just goes to

show you a even just a few thousand miles away the cultures way different like they they don't understand even little things like it we live in exact same day and age but little things are different many

mean anything it's just something you say it's me that I would make a strong argument from my point of view that obviously with we model things you know people say yeah but you

don't want to set a bad example or whatever and role models need to whatever but it's the devil that does it so right it's kind of like a lit you know show in the devil in bad behavior is actually a positive role model because you've

attached the negativity of the devil to the thing to not do of course so even if it was taken literally it's still a counter lesson of but not to my even bigger point there is is it made me start thinking about well how in the

way I tell you so confidently they totally get what the people in the Bible writing yeah you know I was like wait hold on you can't even understand a anybody from South Carolina

with a couple things they say yeah today right not to mention you can't understand that at all you have to clarify and figured out and I do I had to explain it to our

a nr guy and everybody to keep that in fact I mean that happened a few times I mean just with my accent we had we had to title the song the

blitzers mouth because they thought I was saying the bitches mouth that's my accent saying that they I mean and we're in the same country in the same time and we're friends and
