I'm your host, Kristi Harrison, and today we're talking with a guest named Chris Cole.

He's the author of a memoir of his own personal journey through mental illness and addiction,

And I can't wait to talk to him today, not only because he has a really fascinating

story about his own recovery, but also because he's bringing the rare perspective of a man

who's recovered from eating issues.

And that's something that I've really tried to do on the podcast is have a lot of diversity

but in the last two seasons where I've been focusing specifically on eating disorder recovery

and health at every size, I feel like the diversity mandate has sort of taken a backseat
