Summary

Diversity, culture, & inclusivity- I’m here with special guest and CEO of LeMeilleur Beauty, Shannon King, to talk about the lack of diversity in aesthetics. As an injector, it’s important to showcase people from different backgrounds. That's precisely why, in this podcast, we’ll be discussing the difficulties that people of color face in the industry,  how to market inclusivity, and what we can do to improve representation in your practice.

What drove your interest in that?

1:38.3

1:45.9

excited. I really enjoyed working alongside of the plastic surgeons and the outcome for the

1:52.4

patients. So as I moved forward in my nursing career, I knew I wanted to do something very

1:58.6

similar. Of course, plastic surgery wasn't an option.

2:02.5

So I kind of gravitated towards the next best thing, which would be aesthetics in helping them bring out the best version of themselves and be excited about the services that they were receiving.

2:15.8
