The church is the most disturbing part of the landscape.

Assigned by our Lord to be salt and light, too frequently we see the middle ground.

That's our goal.

That seems to be the objective currently. That imagined place of safety and security where we're neither hot nor cold,

hoping to be beyond criticism and thus we can maintain some place of something. I'm not sure what.

Well it's a false gospel being presented by a false church in hopes of gaining influence

in a world order that is coming under the judgment of God.

It's not a place I would spend my time or my effort.

We've been working through a series under a general theme of when God breaks out.

I have this sense that God is moving in the earth in some very remarkable ways.

And it's more than some innate sense.

I think there's abundant evidence of it.

It's all around us, but it's very easy to have our attention co-opted by the negative things that are happening,

by the ungodliness that is breaking forth.

It often seems to have larger platforms and more voices of a scent and those messages seem to just cascade around us most days.
