Hi, guys, Bruce here.

Well, the big weekend has come and gone, and I have to tell you, I had a great time.

There were lots of inexpensive comics and books to buy.

There were small press folks with interesting books to check out.

There were artists doing drawings for the crowds.

We got to see Stormtroopers, and those incredibly beautiful comic cabinets were on display.

Wow.

There were raffles and door prizes galore.

But the most important thing was seeing old friends.

Besides getting to hang out and chat with all the comic geeks and my buddies, the nerdcast guys, Dr. Sexy and Happy Jack,

I also got to see many of my fellow podcasters, Vince, Ian, Sean and Jim, Bill, Paul,

Rafe, Wayne, and Marty, you know, I mean, okay, maybe he's not a podcaster, but he's in,

he's in the crowd, you know. They've all become good friends. I only see them once a year,

but the rest of the year I get to listen to them on their podcasts. But not only do I get to see old friends, I get to meet and make new friends.

So, like this year, Friday night, I spent Friday evening at a table with Bill and Steve from New Jersey,

who were so kind, just put up with my blathering all night.

And then there's my fellow CGS listeners, Chad, Dave, Crispin, Tony, I don't know who I'm forgetting.

I also got to hang out with my son Corey for two days, something that I always look forward to, you know?

And then for me to be thanked for my participation in the four special events, 100, 200, 300, and this one? I don't know, guys.

I should be thanking you.

And that's what this is all about.
