that their grandmother is gone. And the daughter enters the English language Olympiad in London

in the hopes of tracking down her mother who abandoned the two children years earlier. This is a film

that has been called intimate and lyrical, compelling,

and bittersweet by critics around the world. I've never seen a film from Latvia.
