Is change important? Is commitment essential? Of course. But I'm not a huge New Year's resolutions person.

I love celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or many milestone, and often I go over the top for an occasion, large or small.

So I think marking a date on the calendar is significant and worthwhile. But the reality is that few of us will radically change because of a single moment of resolve.
