Scott Mitchell Responds To 'Bye Bye Barry' In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris speaks to former Detroit Lions quarterback Scott Mitchell about his career, the Detroit Lions organization historically and in the present, and of course, we discuss his response to the 'Bye Bye Barry' documentary released earlier this week. Mitchell had a social media post in response to the documentary go viral in which he excoriated a number of Detroit Lions players and staff as well as Detroit-area celebrities, Jeff Daniels and Eminem. Mitchell spends an hour speaking with Chris and goes through his reasoning as well as sharing stories and context around his response. He discusses what it felt like for a player, and what he would say if he could speak directly to Detroit Lions fans.
