All right trivia for the gift the soul writing credit goes to Joe Manosky and that makes a lot of sense because he's been a part of the process and getting us from season three to four and partnered with Brennan Braga however we also know that a soul writing credit is very rarely the complete story.

Brian Fuller was relatively new on the scene at this time having pitched to DS9 and Voyager and this episode was seen as a little bit of a test for the freelancer before bringing him on to the staff.
