Hey everybody, welcome to episode 500 of Tengegentually Speaking.

this conversation and you can see the comments streaming by that we were responding to sometimes.

But I am uploading it as a standalone audio podcast because I know a lot of people listen

in their cars or while taking a walk or painting the wall or hammering or doing whatever

they're doing.

So here it is.

It's an unusual episode obviously because it's a three of us just chatting about podcasting

and what I've learned in the nine years or so that I've been doing this and some of the

most memorable experiences I've had and how the podcast has changed my life which is considerable.

Of course, nine years any life's going to change.

So some changes have been attributable to doing a podcast and others just to the passage

of time.

I thought that what I would do musically is shift from the normal structure obviously.

But I'm going to play the song that you hear at the beginning of every podcast you hear

an excerpt of the song Bright Side of the Sun by the band Basin and Range who very graciously

permitted me to use a little snippet of their song years ago.

And I'm going to play the whole song so that you can hear the context of the bit that

you hear every episode.
