Welcome to the perfume room.

My scent of the day today is also my top sniff of the week.

It was a fragrance that was sent to me just the other day, and it is called Promenade

So the Roche by Grace de Monaco, created by

none other than perfume room veteran Olivier Crespe. And this fragrance is just like,

ugh, it is just the opulent, warm, elegant white floral that I have been searching for. It opens

sort of like traditional, like a fresh white

floral. It's a familiar smell. Like I feel like I've had a fragrance in my collection in the past that

kind of reminds me of it. Definitely a beautiful Jasmine note. But then as the heart develops,

you get this beautiful rose and a lang-a-lang combo that just gives it this mature,

sexy, slightly dirty depth to it. And so naturally, after I sprayed it, I put it on today,

I'm editing the episode. And I was like, you know what, I'm going to spritz Casablanca by

Brown Girl Jane on top. You will hear all about this in the episode.

And I have to be honest, I'm obsessed with Casablanca on its own. Okay? It's this amazing,

warm, soft, enveloping, spicy sweet gourmand. It's like a spicy marshmallow. And I love

promenade so the roche on its own. I didn't love the layering combo. So, you know, I might go back

to the drawing board with that one. I do like wearing them separately, didn't love it together.
