I found out that a really good friend of mine, in fact, one of the people responsible for

getting me involved in Vax, which has put me on this journey, actually contracted COVID-19.

It was very serious.

Why was it serious?

Because she probably represents the greatest at-risk group there is.

So why wanna bring in my friend, five-time cancer survivor, Kelly Gallagher joins me now.

Really, we happen to just be catching up and you shared with me that you actually got

really sick.

But first of all, when we hear about that group, that high-risk group that have other

comorbidities, you deal with a lot.

On a constant basis in your life, just give me a sense of where what you deal with with

your health and what you've gone through through the years.

Of course, celebrating all the holistic approaches you've used in doctors that have kept

you alive this long.

But for a sense of what it means to be high-risk, what does that mean to you?

Well, thanks for having me on Dell.

As you know, I'm a five-time cancer survivor and I never expected to live this long.

So now I'm powered by my six-pacemaker and the Newhart Valve.

I had had 48 radiation treatments, 120 blood transfusions that led to iron poisoning

or hemacromatosis, and also lymphedema.

So and I had two lung operations that came when I had my heart surgery because my heart

bled into my lungs.
