Welcome back. This is Beyond the Box Score. I'm Dan Schneier. That's Jacob Gibbs. And I'll start the show off by addressing the elephant in the room. There was no Beyond the Box Score Tuesday for the first time this season due to some issues.

As you can tell here, by addressing the elephant in the room, I've got some breathing issues,

so I am using an intake strip to help me breathe. I understand it may be as distracting,

and it certainly looks ridiculous, but I am a ridiculous human being. So if you are distracted

by this in the show, please let me know I will never wear it again,

but it is helping me breathe massively, and it's helping me talk and speak today. Jacob himself was

also under the weather. What much worse than me? I mean, he was way more sick than me yesterday.

So we're both dealing with some sicknesses right now, but we were not going to miss two shows in a row. So I put on this breathing strip, which I know looks ridiculous, and I feel like I can breathe again and I can talk again. And we can talk football today. And Jacob, my friend, I know you're excited to talk because we've got a lot of rookie receivers talk about. I watch more tape for this show than probably anyone we've done all year.

Yeah, I'm excited.

Good to get the day off yesterday.

That was much needed.

So I missed the Monday show and I saw in the comments, somebody was like, is this the first time Jacob has slept since week one?

To which I replied, do you think I slept in week one I started thinking about it

was like yeah this is no surprise that my body is like please stop like I've basically been sleeping

for the past two days and I'm feeling a little bit better today but still running a bit of a fever

so yeah we're here we've got I've been watching a lot of film and prep for this I know that you have to excited we got a bit of a fever. So, yeah, we're here. We've got, I've been watching a lot of film and prep for this. I know that you have to. Excited. We've got a lot of exciting rookies to talk about. We've seen a bunch of the tied-ins already break out, and we're going to get to some of those names. But how about these receivers? You know, there's some intriguing guys, some late-round, who might be breaking out for us soon.
