Today we are going to be looking at whether it makes sense to continue using cash back credit cards at specific stores even if you're already

using rewards credit cards for most of your purchases in order to earn points.

And I wanted to talk about this because something I often see is that someone will have one or a few great points earning credit cards.

And they'll be using those really strategically to optimize earning extra points in the bonus categories

those cards offer. For example, using a Chase Sapphire Reserve card for

dining and restaurant spend in order to earn three chase points for every dollar spent or

using an American Express gold card for grocery purchases in order to earn four
