I've started multiple seven-figure businesses,

and a few years ago, I left my day job. so I know a thing or two about deciding to leave your job and there's a big questions that you need to wrestle with before you make that leap.

I hear from a lot of you. A lot of you write to me and wrestle with this as well and ask, hey, Clayton, when is it time should I leave my job? I've got a few rental properties already. A few years away from getting my pension. I'm a school teacher and I just don't want to do it anymore.

I'm not building the business that I want. When should I do it? I think there are really five reasons

to consider quitting your job. And you need to put this down on paper,

do a pro and cons list and really decide what works for you, and this is a deeply personal decision.

But I really think that there are five main reasons

that you'd want to consider leaving your job.

Let's start off with the very first one.

Millionaires have at least seven sources of income.

So when you work for someone else,

you don't have another source of income.

If you're just punching that 9 to 5

and you're working 40 hours a week for somebody else, you have one source of income.
