Michael, welcome to the Creating a Brand podcast. Thanks for having me on Alex. Good to be with you.

This is just an honor to be talking to you. You're one of the primary mentors have had my life for

nearly six years at this point. So I want to say thank you for that. Well, you're welcome. Thank you.

It was actually July 2015. I had this realization. I had this moment my life where I realized through a

friend who really challenged me with something. They said, don't let your giftedness take you further than

your character can. And I knew in that moment that that was actually happening for me. I was

overseeing a lot of people and doing a lot of big things, but I realized I was outpacing myself.

And because I started looking for mentors in my life, and I had a real struggle finding somebody local.

And I remember one night I shared this frustration with my wife.

And I was like, hey, I am just struggling here.

And I had desperation, I went to Google and just typed in virtual mentor to see what would come up on Google.
