November 6th. Former President Donald Trump's testimony in his New York

civil fraud trial started off rocky but got smoother as the day progressed. He was questioned by prosecutors

about the values of his properties and his role in their appraisals, including his Florida

Resort Marlago and his Trump Tower apartment in New York City.

Earlier the judge in the case interjected when Trump made lengthy responses and urged him to

answer questions directly.

During break, Trump's attorney Alina Habba slammed the judge and the New York Attorney General.

And the judge can tell me to sit down and he can try and shorten my client's testimony, but it is loud and clear. They've got nothing.

The AG is seeking to bar Trump from doing business in the state and to dissolve

his companies. Her office is seeking 250 million dollars in disgorgement or the repayments of ill-gotten

gains.

It alleges Trump and his co-defendants inflated the value of assets on financial statements

to get better terms on commercial and real estate loans and insurance policies.

The judge already ruled that they're liable for persistent and repeated fraud and is deciding on six other claims.

Trump's lawyers have disputed the allegations and argued that the valuations are highly subjective.
