Hello from CNN, I'm Afomadikay with the five things you need to know for Thursday

October 26. Authorities are searching for the man accused of killing 18 people

and injuring 13 others in a shooting rampage at two sites in Lewiston, Maine last night.

He should be considered armed and dangerous?

That was Maine State Police Colonel William Ross, who said the suspect Robert Card

is facing an arrest warrant for eight counts of murder.

And the reason it's eight counts because ten people have not yet been identified.

As those people are identified, the counts will probably go to the total of 18.

Law enforcement officials told CNN the suspected shooter is a certified firearms

instructor and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.

One of his former colleagues from the Army Reserves said he's a skilled marksman and outdoorsman and

was one of the best shooters in the unit. Law enforcement sources say he was at a

training facility over the summer but started making statements about hearing

voices and having thoughts about wanting to hurt fellow officers.

So he was referred to a military hospital and spent a few weeks under evaluation.

Police say Wednesday shootings occurred at a bowling alley and a restaurant in bar.

Leroy Walker's senior told WGME, his son worked at the bar and was one of the victims.
