Hello from CNN, I'm a phone with the five things you need to know for Friday, November 10th.

There's growing concern about hospitals being bombarded in Gaza City in the war between Israel and Hamas.

A director of one hospital in Gaza said it's quote,

completely surrounded by Israeli tanks,

which has prevented them from leaving.

Strikes were reported near several other hospitals in northern Gaza, including al-Shifa, the territory's

largest medical facility.

It's unclear what struck the hospital, but video showed injured people lying on the ground

of its outpatient clinic.

These incidents are heightening fears that Israel's military campaign is further endangering patients and medical staff.

Israeli forces have not commented on them, but has repeatedly called on civilians to move south,

as its offensive intensifies.

Here's CNN's Jeremy Diamond.

The Israeli military, we have heard them in recent weeks as they have made clear that they believe that Hamas is operating inside and underneath some of the major hospitals in Gaza City.

We have not been able to independently verify some of the evidence that they have put forward, but they have made clear

that these hospitals could potentially be targets should Hamas militants continue to use

them for their operations.
