Let's do this! 2.     You DO have to follow a schedule that includes 90% of your time spent on lead-generating activities and 10% on everything else.  You must learn to generate business in the most efficient way possible, with the least speculation and expenditure.  Don't spend money you don't have on leads that aren't exclusively yours. Lead with Lead Generation.  Every commission earned starts as a lead.  The only things in your schedule should be Lead Generation, Furiously Fast Lead Follow-up, PreQualifying, Presenting, Negotiating, and Closing.  Lather, rinse, and repeat! 3.     Focus on Listings from Day One.  Listings generate more business, buyer's do not.  There are sellers who HAVE TO sell, but no buyer ever HAS TO buy.
