What's up, guys? Welcome back to build. Today, what I want to talk about are mistakes that new leaders make.

So, whether you are a first time new leader and you are leading your company for the first time,

whether you are a new leader of a department, maybe you got a promotion, and you are doing this for the first time,

this episode is for you. So this was really top of mind for me because in my company,

we are scaling super fast and we have created basically an entirely new level of leadership

just in the last four to five months. And so what I've observed is all these mistakes that so many of my leaders are

about to make or possibly making, and I have dealt with them in the past when I was building my

first company, my second, my third. What I've realized is that these are mistakes that all new

leaders make. And if you know what they are, then you can avoid them. And so my goal is that by the

end of this episode, you know what those mistakes are and you can avoid them. And so my goal is that by the end of this episode, you know what those mistakes are,

and you can avoid them so you don't have to go through the same pain that I incurred.

The thing that's been top of mind for me has been mistakes that less experienced leaders make when scaling.

is because it's not just happening in my own company

at Acquisition.com,

but it's also happening within multiple portfolio companies

that I have.

And I'm lucky because I've dealt with it before,

to 27 million to 36 million to 50 million. So like that's a very
