I am sitting here and recording this midweek shortly after I did a keynote presentation

for a Boston-based company and the presentation was all about how to incorporate healthy habits

into your regular routine.

So basically, strategies, tips, tools so that these employees could be more regular with

the things that make them feel good.

Now, one of my forever tips when it comes to adopting a healthy movement practice is that

you've got to choose something that you enjoy.

You have got to lean into whatever type of movement makes you happy.

So if you see someone who is like a huge fan of CrossFit and you think it looks cool,

but when you go to CrossFit, you actually 100% dread everything from burpees to box jumps

to power cleans, then you don't have to do CrossFit.

Just like if you see someone perhaps while scrolling on the socials that is running

their gazillionth marathon, but every time you lace up your sneakers and go outside,

it actually makes you want to contemplate a slow death, then maybe running isn't for

you.

So that piece of advice, again, if you want to incorporate movement into your regular

routine, then that movement has got to be something that you like.

And to piggyback on that, while I'm offering up this tip, it also helps if you diversify

your activities.

So maybe you aren't doing the same thing every day.
