It sure had been a long week.

It has been.

It's been a pretty difficult week.

A lot of emotions happening on Twitter to the point that I actually had to log off

Twitter at a certain point just for my own emotional well-being, I think.

Yeah, that was probably the best bet, because if you go on Twitter at a time like this,

you just kind of wind up being like a cat chasing his tail around and around and around.

Yeah, you see a lot of really devastating stories that are extremely hard to read,

but then you also see a lot of people getting very angry about those stories,

and so it becomes a real vortex of emotions, I think.

It really does, and then people RT those stories,

and you see that they like them, and it just, it is, as you said, a vortex.

I think that one thing that is worth addressing is the fact that

Chris Avalon was among the people who was accused of sexual harassment by some parties. Chris

Haveloan has been on this podcast before because he has a long history in the games industry. I think it's worth acknowledging

that and it's unfortunate and very sad. And I think it shows the danger maybe in taking these

people who, you know, they make video games and they're very good writers and elevating them

almost into this kind of like mythic figures.

Like I think we have to be careful about that.

Yeah, it's definitely a bad week to have heroes.
