So we have a couple of special notes before we jump right in. We recently announced our first ever buddy read, which is On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong. We finally have all the details, so we thought we'd let you know. Yes. You have until December 12th to read the book, and then we will be discussing the book on a special

episode of the podcast.

Yes. So get your reading in so that you can understand what we're talking about on that episode. It's going to be such a good episode. Yes, and we're going to try out something new with this episode as well. We would love to hear your guys's thoughts, so closer to the deadline, we'll let you know how you can submit your own voice clips so that you guys can also be a part of the episode.

We thought it would be fun to discuss it as a

group. Yes. Also, this upcoming Saturday, which is November 23rd, we're doing something else that's

very exciting, our first ever live read-in. Yay! So basically, you guys will just come and we will all

read together at the same time silently, and it'll be wonderful. So that is going to be this Saturday at 11 a.m. PST Pacific Standard Time and that will be all the details for that will be on the Instagram as well. So check that out. On the Instagram. There will be a link that you click. And we will be there. Yes, we will be right there.

It'll be everywhere.

Yeah, so we'll be reading for an hour probably. That's usually how those things go. So yeah, that's going to be super fun. I'm sure it'll devolve a bit and we'll answer questions and stuff. Totally. We always talk a lot during live shows. Yeah, we're really bad at sticking to a schedule and not talking. And later in this episode, we are going to be doing our debate where we are going to argue about Deckled Edges versus regular pages. It's going to get real. Y'all have been waiting for this for a week and it's going to happen somewhere in the. So just to keep an eye out for that or keep an ear open for that, I guess.

What are you currently reading Ariel?

Well, funny that we're starting with this question because I've chosen the book I'm about to start, but I'm not actually reading it yet. And that's because

that's fair. That's fair. The last book that I finished, I just finished a few hours ago. And so I

haven't had time to jump in yet. But I know exactly what I want to read. I've picked it out. I'm

excited. And it is Zen in the Art of Writing by Ray Bradbury.

So as I think I mentioned in our last episode, it's currently Nanarimo, National Novel

Writing Month, if you've never heard of it.

And it is a challenge where people try and write 50,000 words in one month.
