comments around Moses' leadership and the five choices he makes around the crossing of the Red Sea

as they come out of Egypt in Exodus chapter 14. And so the word leadership is just a great work,

because we're leading not simply in our ministries,

and our churches, and our non-profits, in the marketplace.

We also lead in our families.

We lead in our marriages or singleness.

We lead in transitions.

It's very simple yet very profound as he makes some significant choices in the midst of an enormous obstacle,

obstacles, and a lot of anxiety. So the context is they've come out of Egypt, two to three million

Israelites. He's the leader, 80 years old. He has spent 40 years in the desert. Midian, been called by God to this great task.

And they've been delivered supernaturally from Pharaoh at the Passover, and now they're on their

way to the promised land. God has them pause before they hit the Red Sea, and then at that point,

Pharaoh and all of his troops just changed

their mind, and they come after to attack the Israelites. And the scripture says actually
