Which is to say we are making a natural blue dye using powder from the indigo plant and it's kind of complicated

This is actually our second time trying to make indigo because the first time we didn't get the ratio right. It's tricky

Moving it very slowly because we don't want the

Oxygen to get into the vat you have to stir it kind of lovingly and slowly and then if you actually do it right and all goes according to plan

It's amazing

The indigo mixture seems to come alive in the water it starts fizzing and glistening as you stir it

It's so psychedelic like these metallic shimmery bubbly chunks are swirling around in water
