pleased to welcome you today to this week's attitude webinar. We have a wonderful guest today, Dr. Sandy Newmark, who is the founder of the Center

for Pediatric Integrative Medicine in San Francisco, and the author of a very well- book ADHD without drugs a guide to natural care of children with ADHD.

Dr. Newmark will be speaking today and taking questions on the subject of alternative therapies for attention deficit.

Although he is a pediatrician and he primarily works with children, he's comfortable responding

to questions from those of you who are adults about the topic of alternative therapies for ADHD.

Hello, thank you all for listening.

How I wanted to start is to say that I am an integrative doctor and by that means that one of the primary things is I integrate both

conventional and alternative treatment

program.

and that could include behavioral interventions, school placement, classroom

management, and medication when appropriate.

So it's not just, oh, we're going to use alternative treatments or we're going to use regular

treatments.

So I integrate all of it.

One of the things about alternative treatments is sometimes on their own there are equally effective as medication.
