0:15.9	I saw, you know, in tweets, I end up on Instagram and so you can't really even tell

0:26.3	But it was an imaginary conversation between a person and an animal and the person was
0:30.7	like, oh, we're so smart.

0:33.1	And the animal was like, you're also the only species that pays money to live on earth.
0:36.7	I've laughed so hard because it stings a little and it's also very, very true.
0:42.6	We are the only species that pays to live on this planet.
0:46.3	And there are a lot of strange things about being a person.
0:49.9	And in this century, I think one of the strangest things is that we are all so committed to
0:56.1	having opinions on everything and you also having those opinions on everything heard and
1:03.3	documented.
1:06.5	So 20 years ago, if you wanted to know whether a restaurant was good, you'd ask a friend
1:13.3	maybe and the friend would say, yeah, it was pretty good.
1:16.2	Try the burger.
1:17.2	And if you wanted to know what to read next, you would maybe ask a book seller.
1:20.2	You would ask a librarian.
1:21.2	You would ask the aunt of yours who was always reading like four books a week and they'd
