0:10.7	as we discuss Doctor in Covenant Sections 51 through 57. Several of these are relatively short.
0:18.9	They're in answer to questions posed by some of the early members
0:24.2	who wanted to know what their duties were or what assignments or specific callings they might have.
0:30.7	A lot of it has to do with organizing in Ohio, and in Section 57, we have the revelation of where Zion will be established.
0:41.2	They bought some properties there. They weren't able to finish the establishment of Zion in Jackson County, but, of course, this was revelation that is very significant to us today.
0:57.9	As we look toward the establishment of Zion prior to the second coming of the Lord in a more imminent way than the saints of this time did.

1:48.8	Let's talk about some of the background information of this period.
1:55.7	The saints are coming to gather in the Kirtland area of Ohio.
2:07.8	There was a group of more than 60 saints that came from Colville, New York.
2:14.5	So that's a pretty good contingent of newly baptized members of the church that are coming to settle in Ohio in May of 1831.
2:19.4	And Edward Partridge was responsible for arranging their settlement in Ohio.
2:26.6	So we have Section 51 given specifically to Edward Partridge for his role as the first called Bishop of the Church,
2:38.8	which puts him in charge of temporal affairs, right, so that he can organize this according to the law
2:44.3	that was given in Section 42, again referring to this early information on the law of consecration that the saints are
