Now, let me start out by apologizing for not acknowledging Mother's Day.

I lose track, and I'm recording a little bit ahead, not much.

This week I'm especially late, so apologies to Doug Larson, who does the editing,

and is wonderful about my erratic production schedule.

And I do include all women in that.

I hope you've heard the speech by Sherry Dew a long time ago now called Are We Not All Mothers.

It was a really good treatment of that idea.

You know, Sister Dew has remained single her entire life. It's been very productive a life. And she had a really wonderful position from which to teach that doctrine that Eve was called the mother of all living

long before she had a child.

And another speech that I would highly recommend that was given by Elder Bruce Hafen in the

World Congress on Family in Geneva, Switzerland, way back, it was either, you know, the end of the 90s or could

have been early 2000s. I'm sorry, I don't remember the year, but it's not hard to find this

speech. It's called the Touch of Human Kindness. It's a great speech. I'll try to make a post on

Patreon with links to both of those speeches.

Wonderful to review those things.

Elder Hathen's speech is a little bit longer.

You can actually buy it as sort of a pamphlet from Amazon for just a couple of bucks.

It's not much.
