The UK is prepared to back this with boots on the ground and

planes in the air together with others. Europe must do the heavy listing. The UK, France and

Ukraine drawing up a security plan, but they say they will need help from the US if they're going

to be successful.

Ukrainian leaders Zelensky met privately yesterday with Starmor a day after the blowup of the White House meeting with President Trump.

Israel has cut off aid in Gaza in response to pressure from Hamas to accept a new ceasefire proposal.

It is a tricky and a dangerous time here right now.

Phase one of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has finished, but phase two has yet to be agreed to.

Instead, Israel is offering an extension of phase one, which would see the immediate release

of half of the remaining hostages held by Hamas. But with Israel, Jerusalem, not offering

a lot on return, like an Israeli military pullback. Hamas is rejecting the offer, calling it

blackmail. As Israel responded with that complete cutoff, a humanitarian aid to

Gaza. That aid had been flowing to the desperate people there during phase one of the accord.

tough days, including a bronchial spasm, which required him

to undergo a non-invasive procedure to restore his breathing. The pontiff, they say, have been alert
