0:18.8	Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.
0:22.7	The first official 53-man roster for the 2025 Niners is here, and there were a few surprises
0:28.5	yesterday. First and foremost, Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch loaded up along the line of
0:33.8	scrimmage. There are 21 offensive and defensive linemen on this team right now
0:38.7	that is the most in the Shanahan Lynch era. Before we get to the list, there is one thing to
0:43.9	keep in mind. This is far from finalized. Kyle always likes to say that this is the initial
0:49.1	53 man roster, not the final, and that definitely applies in this case. For example, there are only two
0:55.5	healthy receivers on the team right now, Ricky Pearsall and Sky Moore. So clearly another move is
1:01.3	coming. There's also no punter. The Niners snuck another player on the active roster by
1:06.1	cutting Thomas Morstead, who later tweeted, quote, R-E-L-A-X to signify that he would be coming back
1:13.5	after some procedural moves.
1:15.6	Okay, that said, here is what we got.
1:19.0	Two quarterbacks, Brock Purdy and Mack Jones, we already knew that Tanner, Mordecai,
1:23.1	and Carter Bradley were both cut.
1:25.2	Five running backs, Christian McCaffrey, Brian Robinson, Isaac Arendo, and Jordan James.
1:30.9	Jeff Wilson was released, but the hope for the 49ers is that he can end up on the practice
1:35.9	squad if nobody else has a spot for him on their 53-man roster.
1:41.0	The wide receivers I already mentioned, Juan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob
1:44.7	Cowing, Jordan Watkins, and Sky Moore. Brandon Ayuk was officially moved to the physically
