Good morning and welcome to 49ers in 5, your daily update on everything happening with a team that you need to know.

I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 Veterans Day. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

For the second straight day, the Niners had no new injuries coming out of the game.

Even Kyle Shanahan was shocked.

I'm still not fully believing it.

I'm going to wait until Wednesday to make sure nothing creeps up, But it's looking that way two days in a row.

So hopefully that'll be the case.

Probably the first time all year that the Niners have actually been able to get

stronger coming out of a game.

Every other game this year feels like they always lose somebody.

That did not happen on Sunday.

That's probably the only silver lining coming out of

that loss. As for the guys that were hurt going into the Rams game, the Ricky Pearson update was

positive. They are hoping to get him back in practice on Wednesday. Brock Purdy will continue

to be monitored. More on him in a minute.

Alfred Collins almost played against the Rams. They will also continue to evaluate him on Wednesday. As for Brandon Ayuk, we will continue to wait there as well. His practice window

will not be opened this week. As for the Rams game, Kyle put it to bed yesterday.

Even though, you know, there's a lot of bad things about that game.

And I look at the defense and, you know, I thought the offense, you know,

they stopped them twice in the second quarter and we only took advantage of one of them.

Not to mention on two other drives that we have a fourth and one that we don't convert on the 11-yard line and we have a fumble going into the red zone. And then I look at that whole second half, I mean, that wasn't much different than when we played them in the second half a month ago where I felt they scored on every drive in the second half. We just gave them a head start with our offense starting slower. And I felt the defense could have found a way to get off the field twice in that game in the second half, just like they did in the second quarter. And we're right in that game and to me finding a way to win in on that last possession. But we didn't get that done. And you don't want to underreact to that, but you definitely can't overreact to that. You've got to look at it individually on each play and figure out how to find a way to get off the field. And there was plenty of opportunities that we could have found a way to get off the field versus a very good quarterback and a good offense. But we didn't get that done. And that's why we got to live with that result. That's about as positive and optimistic as I have heard him after such a big loss, particularly one to a division opponent.
