0:48.3	happening with your San Francisco 49ers. OTAs begin today, and despite all of the good vibes that the Niners do have right now,
0:58.1	they actually still have a little bit of business to take care of because second round pick
1:03.8	Alfred Collins still hasn't signed his rookie contract. Now, to be fair, the 49ers are not alone in this. In fact, there are still 30 guys
1:14.2	drafted in the second round that haven't signed their rookie deals. By comparison, in the other
1:19.8	six rounds combined, only 26 players have not signed their rookie contract. So you may be wondering,
1:29.0	what is so special about the second round that none of these guys have signed? Well, the answer is guaranteed contracts.
1:34.6	The Texans and the Browns both gave fully guaranteed contracts to their second round picks.
1:41.8	So of course, every other second round pick is saying,
1:44.8	hey, why should we take less than that when these guys got their contracts fully guaranteed?
1:51.0	So that is the sticking point right now.
