0:13.4	I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Tuesday, March 12th, 24. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.
0:21.5	It's no secret the 49ers wanted another pass rusher opposite Nick Bosa, and on Monday,
0:27.1	they got one reaching a two-year agreement with Leonard Floyd, former Bills and Rams pass rusher.
0:35.2	Right now, the contract is worth reported $20 million, could be worth
0:39.1	up to $24 million, with $12 million guaranteed. Now, I saw some consternation from 49ers
0:47.6	fans on Twitter after this move was announced, and I got to tell you, I don't understand why.
0:52.2	This is a good deal for a very consistent
0:55.2	pass rusher.
0:56.5	Floyd has had at least nine sacks in every year going back four straight years.
1:01.9	There are only two other players in the entire NFL that can say they have done the same
1:07.2	thing.
1:07.7	One is Miles Garrett and the other is Hassan Reddick. He's not an elite player
1:13.2	by any stretch, but he is a consistently good player. He's better than Chase Young, who the 49ers
1:20.1	tried last season. He's better than Samson Ebuckham that the 49ers tried. He is the best
1:25.8	pass rusher they have had opposite Nick Bosa since D. Ford, and it is not close.
1:33.1	Plus, Little Nugget, he hasn't missed a start in six years.
1:39.3	That is something that is obviously very important to the 49ers, especially when you consider

1:44.7	going to let go of Eric Armstead. What was his big problem? Availability. He couldn't stay on the
1:49.7	field. You don't have that problem with Leonard Floyd. Plus, by the way, he has experience with
