I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Thursday, February 5th, 26. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. Could John Lynch pull off a trade

for Max Crosby this offseason? Apparently, it's more possible than ever. Yesterday, NFL insider

Jay Glazer set the NFL world ablaze after saying this on the set of Yahoo Sports Daily. I think his time with the Raiders is done. I do. Before the draft? Yeah, probably, yeah. Is there a landing spot that makes sense, in your opinion? A ton of them. I'm not going to say what is yet because I'm going to try and help it out. Sure, sure. What kind of haul do you think, realistically, a Max Crosby gets in general?

He, um, probably more than Micah. Do you think his time with the Raiders is done because that's a

Raiders decision or because that's a Max Crosby decision? They didn't want to do it. But he was just like,

I'm not going through another rebuild. Very interesting.

Now, obviously a couple things to know.

First, I call Jay Glazer the NFL Groundhog because even though he's an insider,

he really only breaks one or two big stories a year and then he disappears and we never

hear from him for the entire off season.

But he's very rarely wrong. Now, to be clear,

I don't know if Crosby's going to go for more than Micah Parsons went for. Remember,

Micah went to the Packers for Kenny Clark and two first round picks plus a massive new contract.

Crosby is two years older than Micah Parsons. Crosby's 28. He's under contract for the next four

years, but there's no guaranteed money in the deal after 2026. So obviously something would have

to be worked out there, but that's not necessarily a huge roadblock. And there's no question

the 49ers could use Max Crosby. He had 53 pressures last season, 31 hurries, and 10 sacks,

which is half as many as the entire 49ers team had in 2025. And Crosby missed two games with the

Raiders when they shut them down at the end of the year, which apparently may have been the

straw that broke the camel's back.

The question is whether John Lynch would be willing to pay the price to get Max Crosby.
