I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Tuesday, February 10th, 26. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

Unbelievably, it has happened again. Another 49er has been shot. According to a police

report viewed by the San Francisco standard, Niners defensive lineman Keon White was hit in the

ankle early Monday morning at a Mission Street nightclub following an

argument involving rapper Lil Baby. A witness interviewed by police said the rapper's entourage

was on the party's main floor and tried to enter White's private event. White then got into

an argument with the rapper, although we don't know who actually pulled the trigger.

When asked who shot him, White was apparently uncooperative, according to the police.

No suspect has been arrested.

From what we know right now, the wound was not life-threatening or career-threatening.

White actually underwent successful surgery.

Right now, there is no news about the extent

of the damage to his ankle and the team has not given a timeline for his return. Clearly, the most

important part of this, of course, is the human part. White is okay. His life is not in jeopardy.

He has had successful surgery and he is going to recover. That is the most important

part of this. But putting that aside for just one second, looking at the football side of it,

this is now another defensive lineman, the third or maybe fourth defensive lineman for the 49ers

that is going to be rehabbing an injury this offseason, a major injury. Nick Bosa has his ACL.

Mike Al-Williams has his ACL.

Alfred Collins may need shoulder surgery.

We're still not sure about that one.
