I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Thursday, August 28, 2025. Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers. We'll get to Kyle Shanahan and

John Lynch's press conference in a minute, but first we begin as we always do with the injury

report. Don't look now. The Niners are getting some big names back at practice. Of course,

we know their two defensive linemen, Michael Williams, and C.J. West

hit the field earlier this week. And yesterday, Upton Stout and Jordan James were back at it.

I'm not going to say anything else, but that clearly is good news.

Joanne Jennings, Jordan Watkins, Dominic Pune, Kalia Davis, and Yitor Gross Matos did not participate. However, Poonie

and Gross Matos are both trending in the right direction to be back against the Seahawks in the

week one opener. Now, to the audio portion of the show, John and Kyle spoke yesterday, and reporters

did not waste any time. We didn't begin with questions about the

practice squad or the 53 man roster. They wanted to know about Joanne Jennings. Yeah, so

Juan's still working through his his CAF issue, making progress. You know, we're kind of like everyone else, hopeful, but not sure, you know, on week one.

And, you know, we'll proceed as such.

And so we're working to get the best mix out there.

We added a piece today.

And, you know, in VS, Marquez Valdez Scanling,

and thrilled to have him part of it.

And we move forward.
