Here's what's happening with your San Francisco 49ers.

Four-man rush for the Niners. DART trying to step up. Now he rolls left. Behind him,

he's walloped. At his own four, Cleave Farrell. A loss of two on the sack. Farrell was in the end

zone and came back for Jackson Dart and planted them into the turf here at MetLife.

The Niners defense did enough to harass Jackson Dart and the offense was on point all day in a comfortable 34-24 win at MetLife Stadium.

Matt Jones did not throw an incompletion in the first half and ended the day with 235 yards and two touchdown passes. This is a big, big one for us. And we talked about it yesterday after practice, you know, just talking to the team, like, this is a big one, having played, you know, five years in the NFL now. And you really have to look at this game as like a playoff game almost. And I feel like we answered the bell there. Like I said, all one of 33. That's what we talk about. And everyone's got to be on the same page. So we definitely answered the bell, but the challenge is don't be complacent. And we've got to do it again next week. So that sets the goal. The win moves the 49ers to 6 and 3 on the year, good for third place in the NFC West behind the Rams and Seahawks and 6th overall in the National Football Conference.

Niners also ran the heck out of the ball yesterday.

39 carries for 159 yards, including a key touchdown drive late that featured runs on eight of its nine plays.

Ended with a 18-yard touchdown from Brian Robinson. Kyle Shanahan, what's that like?

It's very fun. It's awesome. It's so tempting the whole time. You're like, man, can you do it again and get away with it? Maybe we should do a play action or something off of it. No, screw. We'll just keep running it. And the guys came through. And that's one of the most enjoyable drives that you can go on when it's all run plays. Robinson had his best game as a 49er, including five carries for 53 yards and that touchdown obviously plus he had another good kick

return a 41 yarder in the fourth that set up the nineers final touchdown drive of the day

unfortunately however the football gods can't let us have nice things michael williams went down

with around four and a half minutes left in the game and appears to have torn his ACL.

You never know. So I said, hey, hopefully, hopefully it's not the worst. But if it is, hey, it's, yeah, it sucks for this year.

But that's all it sucks for. You'll be back next year. And this won't affect you at all.
